With reference to Your Lordship's Despatch
24810 No. 241 of the 15th May, I have the honour to inform you that,
since the qualifications possessed by Miss K. A. Adams are suitable for an appointment as Assistant Mistress in this Colony, I should be glad if the Director of Education, Mr. E. A. Irving, who is at present on leave in England, may be
instructed to interview her personally.

Should Mr. Irving approve of her appoint-
-ment, I am prepared to recommend that she should be so
appointed, with a three years' agreement in the first instance,
at such salary as Your Lordship may decide upon.
